Est. 2005 — Started Over a Missing Butter Chicken
Back in 2005, Sanjeev Puri kept running into the same problem: Faridabad had plenty of restaurants, but nowhere served a butter chicken worth talking about. Rather than keep complaining about it, he decided to fix it himself — and opened the first CHASKA with one goal: cook the butter chicken this city deserved.
Word travelled fast. What started as one small kitchen chasing a single perfect gravy grew into a full North Indian, tandoor and Indo-Chinese menu, built the same way from day one — nothing pre-made, nothing rushed. Two decades on, that original recipe is still on the menu, and CHASKA has grown to two locations across Faridabad, at NIT-5 and Omaxe World Street, run with the same obsession Sanjeev started with in 2005.
The name still says it best — "chaska" is that craving you can't quite shake, the dish you keep thinking about after the plate is empty. Twenty-one years in, that's still exactly what we're going for, one table at a time.
